The patient
This gentleman came to our clinic seeking help as he was suffering from hair thinning and recession in his mid-20s. He was fearful that he would go on to lose his hair at an early age. He was diagnosed with Norwood stage 5 male pattern baldness. He underwent therapy to stabilise his hair loss before undergoing an FUE hair transplant to his front and mid-scalp region.
the surgery
Extraction of 1800 grafts for implantation into the frontal hairline and mid-scalp region. This was carried out using the FUE (follicular unit excision) method in one session.
Before and after hair transplantation

This patient's result is 9 months post-surgery. We can expect further growth and thickness over the next 9 months.
